Whenever I open my gallery, it always forces me to think about how fast time flies. People I once loved are not here anymore. Life is different—completely different and new. Nothing seemed to be changing on a day-to-day basis, yet now that I look back, everything is different.
I’m surrounded by new people, but not too long from now, these new people will become old. They don’t know me yet, but they will get to know me. Some of them will love me, some will hate me, but most won’t care whether I exist or not. So who cares what people think, right?
Time is all you’ve got. It’s the most important thing. It’s more important than everything else—it’s more important than your friends or relatives. Once time is gone, it’s gone forever. You won’t get it back. You can’t restore it. You are dead to the past—it’s not real. All you have are memories or photos in your gallery. You could choose to stay stuck in the past, pondering old memories. Or maybe you could cherish whatever turn life has taken. Be grateful for being alive and hope that you might stay alive for a while longer.
Life isn’t a long journey—it’ll pass like the blink of a firefly in the night sky. This moment is the only moment of truth. Everything else is either your memories or your fantasies.
